Nutrition Tips:

  • Cut your portion size in half- go to dinner, go ahead and ask the waiter to box up half before even bringing the dish to the table
  • When you get to the party or dinner, drink a large glass of water before consuming anything. It will make you feel full
  • Add more Color to your plate: peppers, dark-green leafy veggies, tomatoes... Try to keep the pale colors to a minimum
  • Feel Fatigued? Grab water instead of caffiene. H20 will not give you the crash feeling

Fitness Tips:

  • Walking: when you do so, press off the back leg with your toes so that you can squeeze the buttocks. You will really feel the walk!
  • Feel fatigued at work- Get the blood moving quickly by doing butt squeezes while you are sitting or stand and do calf raises.
  • As you sit for long periods of time circulation becomes limited to the lower portion of the body- move the feet around, squeeze the butt or just simply stand up for a minute while you answer that call.
  • Cardio: is when you increase and keep your heart rate up over a period of time. It does not mean, run around the block, walk, elliptical, bike....however, those things are good but you can do push ups, yoga, pilates too in order to achieve the same task
  • We hardly work the back side of the body: back, triceps, butt, hamstrings, calves- so include a short workout of: calf raises, leg presses, back ext and tricep presses daily- you do not need weight added just motion is excellent
